✏The Ninja Murders Book Summary : The Ninja Murders Commodore Matthew Perry's expedition to Japan in 1853 was one of history's defining moments. His visit ended over two-hundred years of self-imposed isolation and precipitated the fall of the Shogunate. It was also the moment that gave birth to Japanese ambitions to rule East Asia and the Western Pacific. America's desire to increase its international standing inadvertently opened a Pandora's Box that would lead to no less than five wars, including World War II. However, The Ninja Murders is not a history book. It's a novel of historical fiction. And as every fan of the genre knows, behind every great historical event, there is a hero deeply enmeshed in intrigue, danger and romance. Samurai, swords and sex! Another page-turner from Andrew Suhrer. Not only do we get a well-researched story, but an incredibly entertaining one at that. Praise for Andrew B. Suhrer's The Flying Dutchmen "Surreal, stunning, heartwarming and magnificent..." Maggie Carter de Vries, Author: Amelia's Secrets. "Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down." Annette Myers, Author: Shrinking Sands of an African American Beach. "A wonderfully researched and written book, a real page turner to the very end. I could not put it down, the characters literally jump off the page as each battle on the field and crisis in daily life was fought."

✏The Real Policeman Book Summary : It's raw, profane, offensive, bizarre. It's not politically correct or warm and fuzzy. It's real. How did police officers do their jobs four decades ago during some of the nation's most turbulent and violent times? These aren't one-dimensional Hollywood characters. They're society's soldiers, real people cut from whole cloth. They try to help when they can, bristle when they're insulted, retaliate when they're attacked, bleed when they're injured, laugh when they're amused (sometimes inappropriately) and get ready for the next shift. Without bulletproof vests, portable radios and other equipment considered essential today, often riding alone, they developed a "One riot-one ranger" mentality by necessity. This book will put you beside some of them, sometimes inside their heads-om radio calls, both mundane and life-threatening, in interrogations, in hostage situations, undercover arrests, investigating burglaries, robberies, rapes and murders. These are the type of stories cops share with each other-stories of comedy, tragedy, chaos and the endless uniqueness of human behavior. These are some of the experiences that make them what they are, for better and worse. The experiences that forever change them, that set them apart from the rest of us, that make them a brotherhood closer than most brothers.

✏A Policeman s Lot Book Summary : A Policeman’s Lot Volume Two in the Notting Hill Trilogy A comedy adventure, beginning in London in the spring of 1975. An elderly widow who lived in Notting Hill and was involved in the finding of some stolen penny black stamps, brings home a real dinosaur bone to compare it to an imitation one. Her dog breaks the false bone and falls sick. A friend, who was visiting her, collected the residue contained within the false bone and gave it to a policeman. It was identified as heroin and investigations lead the police to Museums in England who had bought the false bones, being part of a display of Dinosaurs, to a raid in Holland, where the policeman, who took part in a raid, had a fight in a sex club. The raid was a success, but his escapade in the club infuriated his superiors, whereupon he was placed on suspension. The chief constable, however, knew the truth and engaged him as an undercover agent to resolve other police matters and placed him with an American cop, as an assistant. After many comical situations including going undercover in a nudist camp and being part of a sting in a criminal situation, the truth, however, was finally revealed and the policeman became a hero and gained fame and fortune.
