📒Stick Control ✍ George Lawrence Stone
✏Stick Control Book Summary : George Lawrence Stone's Stick Control is the bible of drumming. In 1993, Modern Drummer magazine named the book one of the top 25 books of all-time. In the words of the author, it is the ideal book for improving: control, speed, flexibility, touch, rhythm, lightness, delicacy, power, endurance, preciseness of execution and muscular coordination, with extra attention given to the development of the weak hand. This indispensable book for drummers of all types includes hundreds of basic to advanced-level rhythms, moving through categories of single-beat combinations, triplets, short roll combinations, flam beats, flam triplets and dotted notes, and short roll progressions.
📒Beyond Stick Control ✍ GLENN MEYER
✏Beyond Stick Control Book Summary : Beyond Stick Control is the book that offers the snare and drum set player various eight bar solos to develop hand technique and hand/foot coordination. the book is divided into four sections: Part A: Hand Technique Development Studies, Part B: Hand/Foot Development, Part C: Ostinato Foot Pattern Development, and Part D: Linear Jazz Studies. the hand technique solos in part A serve as the foundation for the subsequent section B, C, and D. Through the use of accents, single and double strokes, paradiddles, paradiddle-diddles, swiss army triplets and their respective inversions (sticking displacement), the beginning to advanced drummer will greatly improve hand technique, stick and foot control and feel for their instrument. the companion CD contains recordings of the eight bar solos. This is a must for snare and drum set players who want to take their playing to a higher level.

📒Control Of Machines With Friction ✍ Brian Armstrong-Hélouvry
✏Control of Machines with Friction Book Summary : It is my ambition in writing this book to bring tribology to the study of control of machines with friction. Tribology, from the greek for study of rubbing, is the discipline that concerns itself with friction, wear and lubrication. Tribology spans a great range of disciplines, from surface physics to lubrication chemistry and engineering, and comprises investigators in diverse specialities. The English language tribology literature now grows at a rate of some 700 articles per year. But for all of this activity, in the three years that I have been concerned with the control of machines with friction, I have but once met a fellow controls engineer who was aware that the field existed, this including many who were concerned with friction. In this vein I must confess that, before undertaking these investigations, I too was unaware that an active discipline of friction existed. The experience stands out as a mark of the specialization of our time. Within tribology, experimental and theoretical understanding of friction in lubricated machines is well developed. The controls engineer's interest is in dynamics, which is not the central interest of the tribologist. The tribologist is more often concerned with wear, with respect to which there has been enormous progress - witness the many mechanisms which we buy today that are lubricated once only, and that at the factory. Though a secondary interest, frictional dynamics are note forgotten by tribology.
📒F 86 Sabre Pilot S Flight Operating Manual ✍ United States Air Force
✏F 86 Sabre Pilot s Flight Operating Manual Book Summary : Built as both a fighter-interceptor and fighter-bomber, the F-86 Sabre (sometimes called the Sabrejet) was one of the most widely-produced fighters of the Cold War. In December of 1950, three squadrons of Sabres were rushed into combat in Korea, where they dueled North Korean, Chinese and Russian pilots flying the MiG-15. By the time the war was over, F-86 pilots achieved a stunning victory ratio - destroying nearly 800 enemy aircraft with a loss of only 76 Sabres. The nimble jet also saw combat in the Taiwan Straight Crisis and the Indo-Pakistan Wars of 1965 and 1971. Originally printed by North American and the U.S. Air Force, this F-86 Flight Operating Manual taught pilots everything they needed to know before entering the cockpit. Classified "Restricted," the manual was recently declassified and is here reprinted in book form. This facsimile has been reformatted and color images appear in black and white. Care has been taken to preserve the integrity of the text.

📒Flight Testing Of Fixed Wing Aircraft ✍ Ralph D. Kimberlin
✏Flight Testing of Fixed Wing Aircraft Book Summary : Annotation The measurement of performance during an airplane's flight, testing is one of the more important tasks to be accomplished during its development as it impacts on both the airplane's safety and its marketability. This book discusses performance for both propeller-driven and jet aircraft.
