✏Complete Books of Enoch Book Summary : This is a NEW (2010) easy-to-read translation by ancient languages scholar Dr. A. Nyland and is NOT one of the many Public Domain translations of Enoch NOR IS IT A REWORDED PUBLIC DOMAIN VERSION of Enoch. Great advances which have been made in ancient word meaning in the last twenty years were unknown to the translators of the public domain versions of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. There are copious background notes and cross references to Bible verses. This book is an easy to read translation with cross references and notes.Despite the current trend for non-translators to reproduce public domain versions (both as is and disguised by slight rewording) as a commercial venture, be aware that such public domain versions do not take advantage of recent scholarship in word meaning or any corrections in translation. This new translation by Dr. A. Nyland contains all three books of Enoch:1 Enoch (Also called The Ethiopic Book of Enoch)2 Enoch (Also called The Slavonic Book of Enoch, The Secrets of Enoch). This volume contains the extended version of 2 Enoch, The Exaltation of Melchizedek.3 Enoch (Also called The Hebrew Book of Enoch)Note that this is Dr. Nyland's translation and NOT a public domain work.1 Enoch tells of the Watchers, a class of angel, who taught humans weapons, spell potions, root cuttings, astrology, astronomy, and alchemies. The Watchers also slept with human women and produced the Nephilim. For this, they were imprisoned and cast into Tartarus. This is also mentioned in the New Testament. In 2 Enoch, two angels take Enoch through the 7 heavens. This volume contains the extended version of 2 Enoch, The Exaltation of Melchizedek. In 3 Enoch, Enoch ascends to heaven and is transformed into the angel Metatron. This is about the Merkabah and is of interest to Kabbalists. People interested in Theosophy and Rosicrucianism will find this book invaluable. The Complete Books of Enoch is also an invaluable reference for those interested in Theology and it is also a valuable Christian reference.Dr. A. Nyland is an ancient language scholar and lexicographer who served as Faculty at the University of New England, Australia. Dr. Nyland is also the translator of "The Source New Testament with Extensive Notes on Greek Word Meaning," "The Book of Jubilees," "The Gospel of Thomas," the ancient Hittite "Kikkuli Text," and "The Psalms: Translation with Notes."

✏Ge Ez Language Book Summary : Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Pages: 24. Chapters: Book of Enoch, Ge'ez script, Kebra Nagast, Ascension of Isaiah, Ramiel, Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan, Fetha Negest, d, Monumentum Adulitanum, Ezana Stone,, Book of Aksum, Bahrey, ?awt, Ityopp'is. Excerpt: The Book of Enoch (also 1 Enoch) is an ancient Jewish religious work, traditionally ascribed to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah. It is not part of the biblical canon as used by Jews, apart from Beta Israel. It is regarded as canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and Eritrean Orthodox Church, but no other Christian group. Western scholars believe that its older sections (mainly in the Book of the Watchers) date from about 300 BC, and the latest part (Book of Parables) probably was composed at the end of the 1st century BC. It is wholly extant only in the Ge'ez language, with Aramaic fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls and a few Greek and Latin fragments. There is no consensus among scholars about the original language: some propose Aramaic, others Hebrew, while the probable thesis, according to E. Isaac, is that 1 Enoch, like Daniel, was composed partially in Aramaic and partially in Hebrew. Ethiopian scholars generally hold that Ge'ez is the language of the original from which the Greek and Aramaic copies were made, pointing out that it is the only language in which the complete text has yet been found. A short section of 1 Enoch (1 En 1:9) is quoted in the New Testament (Letter of Jude 1:14-15), and is there attributed to "Enoch the Seventh from Adam" (1 En 60:8). It is argued that all the writers of the New Testament were familiar with it and were influenced by it in thought and diction. The first part of the Book of Enoch describes the fall of the Watchers, the angels who fathered the Nephilim. The remainder of the book describes Enoch's visits to heaven in the form of travels, visions and...

✏The Complete Apocrypha with Enoch Jasher and Jubilees Book Summary : The Complete Apocrypha: with Enoch, Jasher, and JubileesThe Book of Enoch is an ancient Jewish religious work, ascribed by tradition to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah, although modern scholars estimate the older sections (mainly in the Book of the Watchers) to date from about 300 BC, and the latest part (Book of Parables) probably to the first century BC. It is not part of the biblical canon as used by Jews, apart from Beta Israel. Most Christian denominations and traditions may accept the Books of Enoch as having some historical or theological interest, but they generally regard the Books of Enoch as non-canonical or non-inspired. It is regarded as canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church, but not by any other Christian groups. The Book of Jubilees, sometimes called Lesser Genesis (Leptogenesis), is an ancient Jewish religious work of 50 chapters, considered canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church as well as Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jews), where it is known as the Book of Division . Jubilees is considered one of the pseudepigrapha by Protestant, Roman Catholic, and Eastern Orthodox Churches. It was well known to Early Christians, as evidenced by the writings of Epiphanius, Justin Martyr, Origen, Diodorus of Tarsus, Isidore of Alexandria, Isidore of Seville, Eutychius of Alexandria, John Malalas, George Syncellus, and George Kedrenos. The book was the major canonical literature of the ancient Jewish community indicated by the dominance of the number of copies found amongst all that were originally collected the Dead Sea Scrolls. No complete Hebrew, Greek or Latin version is known to have survived. The Book of Jubilees claims to present "the history of the division of the days of the Law, of the events of the years, the year-weeks, and the jubilees of the world" as revealed to Moses (in addition to the Torah or "Instruction") by angels while he was on Mount Sinai for forty days and forty nights. The chronology given in Jubilees is based on multiples of seven; the jubilees are periods of 49 years, seven "year-weeks", into which all of time has been divided. The Book of Jasher (also, Jashar) or the Book of the Upright or the Book of the Just Man is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. The translation "Book of the Just Man" is the traditional Greek and Latin translation, while the transliterated form "Jasher" is found in the King James Bible, 1611. According to the Medieval Jewish scholar Rashi, Sefer HaYashar refers to the Pentateuch, as a fulfillment of Jacob's prophecy regarding Ephraim - "His seed will fill the nations" (Gen. 48:19) - and that this prophecy refers to Joshua's renown after the miracle of the standing of the sun.

✏The Book Of Enoch And The Syriac Revelation Of John Peshitta Book Summary : Instead of getting lost in infinite canon discussions hoping to clarify the question whether there is a right and valid canon being approved by God or not, any interested reader should simply start to transcend his or her prejudice by reading different texts, and the field is huge and extremely interesting. Any diligent student will be astonished of the richness the texts do provide on both, different angles of perspectives and manifold cross connections. The Book of Enoch is an important example in this regard. Many passages in the Book of Revelation can only be understood from the background of Enoch. In order to show that I have added the Book of John of Patmos, but this time not from a Greek translation as usual, but from the so called Syriac Peshitta, which is the Syrian bible and as such very old too. This is also a special reference to those countless Christians who have been recently killed by rebels supported by people telling us of a deep necessity to fight terrorism – you hopefully know what I mean. My thoughts and prayers go out to Syria. The Peshitta is a wonderful and deep witness of biblical words transmitted by those belonging to the oldest Christians in the world. Professional theologians – and I know from what I ́m talking – are in large part good and honest people. Many work hard "chewing text by text" in order to find meaning and what is called kerygma, which they are able to preach and say to listening people. But sometimes they talk too much about texts instead of trusting in the power of efficacia we mentioned above. Thus a sermon or speech often becomes more important than the courage to expose mind and soul to a text by oneself. This is the reason many people have not learned simply reading texts by themselves. We live in times of so called secondary literature – important are not original texts demanding patience, time and diligence, but secondary texts on original texts: books on the bible, books on apocrypha, books on pseudepigrapha, books on everything from Pontius till Pilate. But the real challenge is the original text, and it is my intention to have The Book of Enoch and The Revelation published to provide many readers an easy access to amazing and very old texts. Read those words all by yourself! Look for yourself and find cross connections! Find for yourself the hidden treasure in very old texts which have been moved minds and souls of believers at all times! Go, read and see! And have patience...

✏Sons Of God Book Summary : What do the fallen angels have to do with the powers, principalities, ancient aliens, and the Òstrong delusionÓ referenced by Paul in Thessalonians 2:10? The lie that leads to damnation concerns the current perpetuation of the ancient alien myth, which claims that the Annunaki and Nephilim are the creators and benefactors of humanity. Those whom accept this premise will unwittingly volunteer their allegiance to the fallen angels. Unless one understands who the fallen angels were, are, and how they were responsible for the introduction of evil upon the world stage, one might also be caught up in the lie that causes the hearts of men to fail, and the most elect to be deceived. In Sons of God, Garcia seeks to help readers recognize the realities of our ancient past so that, in remembering the story, they can realize who they are and why they are they here.
