✏The Pooping Tree Book Summary : Zxander had no idea that this was going to be the strangest, funniest, and a little bit scary summer of all. About four years ago, he and his nana had found a little brown tree in the park by her house. He had been taking care of the tree, and now it was tall. It had grown so fast, a lot faster than a regular tree. It had started to make sounds last summer, and Zxander was worried that his tree might be sick. So he could not wait to get to his nana’s house to check on his tree. He had been calling to see if his tree was okay. Nana told him that the tree was still growing more every day, but the sounds were getting louder and more often. So he couldn’t wait to get there.

✏Indian Esoteric Buddhism Book Summary : This groundbreaking work describes the historical origins of the Tantric movement in early medieval India. Drawing on primary documents -- translated into English for the first time from Sanskrit, Prakrit, and Bengali -- Davidson shows how changes in medieval Indian society, including economic and patronage crises, a decline in women's participation, and the formation of large monastic orders, led to the rise of the esoteric tradition in India that became the model for Buddhist cultures in China, Tibet, and Japan.

✏We Few Book Summary : A Green Beret’s gripping memoir of American Special Forces in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. In 1970, on his second tour to Vietnam, Nick Brokhausen served in Recon Team Habu, CCN. Officially, it was known as the Studies and Observations group. In fact, this Special Forces squad, which Brokhausen calls “an unwashed, profane, ribald, joyously alive fraternity,” undertook some of the most dangerous and suicidal reconnaissance missions ever in the enemy-controlled territory of Cambodia and Laos. But they didn’t infiltrate the jungles alone. They fought alongside the Montagnards—oppressed minorities from the mountain highlands, trained by the US military in guerilla tactics, armed, accustomed to the wild, and fully engaged in a war against the North Vietnamese. Together this small unit formed the backbone of ground reconnaissance in the Republic of Vietnam, racking up medals for valor—but at a terrible cost. “In colorful, military-jargon-laced prose leavened by gallows humor, Brokhausen pulls few punches describing what it was like to navigate remote jungle terrain under the constant threat of enemy fire. A smartly written, insider’s view of one rarely seen Vietnam War battleground.” —Booklist “[An] exceptionally raw look at the Vietnam War just at the apex of its unpopularity. . . . This battle-scarred memoir is an excellent tribute to the generation that fought, laughed, and died in Southeast Asia.” —New York Journal of Books

✏Poop Tales Book Summary : Many people say, “You can’t judge a book by its cover”. That saying definitely doesn’t apply in this case, because the title and picture say it all. In this book the vulnerability of us all is humorously exposed as we typically find ourselves trying to hide the human condition, which has been passed down throughout mankind. If you breathe, then you eat, if you eat then you poop. No one is exempt from this natural act of waste disposal. However, most people will sit in misery rather than admit the need to go. Whether you are rich or poor, man or woman, you know you have been stuck in some kind of compromising situation. Maybe you have experienced the helplessness of finishing your business, only to discover an empty toilet paper cylinder at your side as you contemplate your options before heading back in to the office. Possibly it was the embarrassment of trying to expel a little gas to relieve an uncomfortable pressure, only to find a science experiment gone wrong in your drawers when the gas changed to a liquid. Or perhaps the awkwardness of a first date has been multiplied by a thousand, as you begin to feel the grumbles in your stomach set in after dinner. Each hilarious tale tells of the experiences of the authors from many different stages in their lives. They share experiences ranging from their own childhood, through the college years, into young adulthood and finally reach full circle with funny tales about their own children. These stories have been written with every intention of making you smile if you must be stuck on the throne for any length of time. Can you honestly think of a better topic for the most notorious and infamous reading room in history?

✏To Right the Unrightable Wrong Book Summary : A century ago Americans were still moving west, settling in new states, establishing themselves in new environments. That pattern was followed by the grandparents, then by the parents of Robert L. Pirtle, the author of this autobiography. The eventual home of the authors parents and his family was Roswell, New Mexico, a sleepy little town in southeastern New Mexico. To begin with, however, the book traces the authors lineage, even including fascinating familial connections to the compilation of the King James Version of the Bible, to the Cherokee Indian Tribe and to the Commander of the Alamo. Readers will certainly enjoy the picture the author draws of small town America in the 1930s and 1940s, of the vicissitudes of growing up, of junior and senior high school days and high jinks. The author displayed an interest in fairness and justice from his earliest days; indeed he proposes that every child has an inherent instinct for justice. As the author moved through childhood and school years he encountered numerous incidents in which the concept of fairness played a decisive part. Though such incidents of childhood are of minimal significance, yet they play a part in shaping a childs character and perception of the world, and can lead to incidents of real significance in adulthood. The author describes incidents which did just that in his own life. In one instance the author shamefacedly admits being the cause of a hurtful injustice to others; yet that incident, too, played its part in his maturation. It is said, after all, that good judgment comes from experience and experience comes from bad judgment. By the time the author graduated from high school his interest in science in mathematics rose to the forefront of his mind and he entered Purdue University with a four-year scholarship from the University. Before the year was out, however, he knew he did not want to pursue science as a career and he switched to the University of Arizona where he majored in mathematics, his easiest subject, while he sampled the liberal arts and pondered what his life work would be. He first considered entering the ministry and becoming a Methodist Preacher, but little by little he decided that he could prove of greater help to people and especially to the cause of justice as a lawyer. Accordingly, his last year in the undergraduate program was his first year in the law school of the University of Arizona. After graduating he took his commission as a 2nd lieutenant in the United States Air Force, working as a mathematician at the Special Weapons Center of Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The authors function was as target analyst, designing an atomic weapon delivery system for fighter aircraft. Fascinating is the authors description of his witnessing the explosion of an atomic bomb named Zucchini in Nevada in 1955. The author entered the University of Colorado upon completing his Air Force term and was hired by the largest law firm in Seattle, Holman, Mickelwait, Marion, Black & Perkins, upon his graduation from law school. During his brief Air Force career, The author had studied Shakespeare at the University of New Mexico, later entered into negotiations with the popular TV show The $64,000 Question, and was being scheduled to appear on the show after his graduation from law school. But the TV show collapsed after Charlie Van Doren, son of the internationally known Shakespeare scholar, Mark Van Doren, lied to a grand jury in New York concerning whether he had been fed answers when he appeared on the show. And a year or so of performing legal work for corporate clients discouraged the author to the point that he left the Firm and hung out his shingle as a sole practitioner, but simultaneously entered the graduate school of philosophy of the University of Washington, contemplating becoming a philosophy professor. In the end the author, d
